WELCOME PLAN for Small Groups
One of the problems with running a small business is how to provide benefits for our family of employees without breaking the bank? Jaimini understands, just as you do, that dental benefits increases employee loyalty and lessens turnover. But health benefits are expensive and take away from that all important bottom line.
Since many employees have coverage through their spouse's employer, duplication of benefits and premiums makes no sense.
Jaimini WELCOME PLAN offers you, the employer, several ways to allow your employees to participate in our dental program. These options range from no cost to you to no cost to the employee.
Insurance plans require that at least 75% of your employees participate or they will not write the policy. Others require that you pay either all or a significant portion of the employee premium to retain coverage. Jaimini's WELCOME PLAN allows you the choice to eliminate each of these costly obstacles to offering your employees coverage.
Options
Voluntary Non-Contributory Option
Each of your existing and new employees will be given the option to enroll in Jaimini's WELCOME PLAN with no requirement that any other employee join Jaimini. If you have 40 employees and just 10 of them wish to be covered, Jaimini will accept those ten. If only one employee wishes to enroll he/she will be accepted by Jaimini.
Voluntary Option
Each of your existing and new employees can be given the option to enroll in Jaimini's WELCOME PLAN with no requirement that any other employee join Jaimini. If you have 40 employees and just 10 of them wish to be covered, Jaimini will accept those ten. If only one employee wishes to enroll he/she will be accepted by Jaimini.
This plan requires that you pay at least $3 per month per employee that elects to join Jaimini. Employees are fully responsible for the premiums beyond your contribution. You are required to payroll deduct and submit the monthly premiums to Jaimini upon receipt of your billing statement. Employees who do enroll will be required to stay on the Jaimini WELCOME PLAN for a period of one year (unless they are no longer employed by you).
Jaimini normally collects premiums annually but allows for monthly payments if the enrollee is part of a group. This one year participation requirement prevents employees from joining, paying two or three month's premiums, having their dental care needs addressed and then dropping from the plan. Employees leaving your employment may continue their coverage with Jaimini as prescribed by COBRA.
Contributory Option
This scenario is the most common when purchasing group health benefits. It requires the employer to pay most, if not all, the monthly premium for the employee. Partial or full payment for the employee's family may also be paid by the employer. This option is generally exercised to ensure that at least 75% of the employees join so that the insurance company will issue the policy. Other reasons companies pay the entire premium is to promote good will and loyalty among their employees and lessen their reasons for wanting to seek employment elsewhere.
